Man missing from Rockport lived in Farmington

MAINE — Jared Paradee is missing from the Rockport/Rockland area and may be nearby as he lived in Farmington for many years.

Paradee lived in Farmington about 10 years ago, family friend Teisha Hufnagel of Rockland said Saturday evening, Feb. 26.

“Jared had an official Zoom meeting with someone helping him with housing last Friday,” she said. “He was supposed to meet again on Wednesday but didn’t show.

“Jared had been living in the Rockland area for many years,” Hufnagel noted. He recently moved to Rockport, she added.

The two towns are side by side.

A release from the Rockport Police Department notes Paradee is 43 years old and was reported missing on February 23. His last known location was 242 Commercial Street, Rockport. He is approximately 5’9”, approximately 165 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Jared has a mullet style haircut and is currently clean shaven.
