Lisa Flynn references a copy of a painting Thursday as inspiration in her weekly adult art class at Wicked Illustrations in Lewiston. Melanie Therrien, owner and instructor of Wicked Illustrations, chose the image with its blue sky and bright yellow sunflowers to honor Ukraine. The colors and flower represent the national flag and national flower. “Art unifies us,” Therrien said. The class works as a group on the same design, putting their own spin on the concept.
