Marc Anthony D’Agostino

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Marc Anthony D’Agostino, of Washington, D.C., passed away unexpectedly Monday March 14, 2022 in Lewiston, at the age of 46.

He was born July 25, 1975 in New Britain, Conn., the son of Donald and Diane (née Emond) D’Agostino. He married Jean-Francois Dominique Achille on Sept. 24, 2013.

Marc held a Master of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He worked as a Senior Accountant for the Brookings Institution since 2019. Previously, he had worked for the American Psychological Association and Defenders of Wildlife, all non-profit organizations located in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, he worked in Portland, first at Oakhurst Dairy and then at Cashstar.

He is survived by his husband Jean-Francois Achille; his sister, Michelle and her husband Tim Berube; his niece Jennifer Berube and nephew, Bryan Berube; and great-nephews D’Andre, Bryson, and Donovan.

Marc was predeceased by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fortin Group, 70 Horton St., Lewiston.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. at the First Universalist Church of Auburn.
