
BANGOR — Christopher Paradis recently joined the Procurement Technical Assistance Center team at Eastern Maine Development Corp., after more than 10 years promoting workforce development with Maine’s Community College System.
Prior to joining the center, he spent more than 25 years in marketing, sales and international business with Elmet Technologies in Lewiston, and Philips Lighting in New Jersey.
Paradis serves on the boards of Husson University’s Southern Maine Alumni, Community Concepts Inc., Community Concepts Finance Corp., and as an executive board member of the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club.
Past community service work includes time on the Maine International Trade Center board of directors as chairman the center’s Invest in Maine Committee, and the Franklin County Workforce and Education Committee.
As a member of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center team, Paradis will work with businesses across Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties to help them promote and sell their goods and services to local, state and federal governments.
