I write in response to the letter from Lynn Ouellette (“Court confirmation hearings needed more respect,” March 26).
She comments on the spectacle which took place during the recent Ketanji Brown Jackson Supreme Court confirmation hearings. I wonder if she remembers what took place during the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh?
Ketanji Brown Jackson received pretty soft treatment compared to the wringer that he went through. The difference in treatment extended to liberals and conservatives has always been shamefully obvious.
The writer cries foul and calls for more respect. We who lean to the right have been doing that for years.
