St. Michael’s Church, 78 Pleasant St., and High Street Congregational Church, both in Auburn, plan to celebrate Palm Sunday, April 10.
People will gather at 10 a.m. at the back parking lot of the High Street church.
Distribution of blessed palms will take place, and a procession of able people will walk around the neighborhood, according to a news release from the church.
People unable to walk or who do not wish to take part in the procession are encouraged to go to the church of their choice, since services will take place after the procession.
The procession is a reenactment of the time that Jesus entered into Jerusalem and was greeted by the people waving Palm branches.
