Melissa Lee Oakes Jordan
SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. – Melissa Lee Oakes Jordan, formerly of Dixfield, passed away at her home in Simpsonville, S.C., after a long battle with A-Typical Parkinson’s.
She was the youngest daughter of Walter and Gloria Oakes, formerly of Dixfield.
She is survived by her husband, David Jordan of Mexico, her sister,
Valerie Oakes Wolstencroft and her husband David, her brother, David Oakes of Dixfield, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She graduated from Auburn University and attended Jones School
of Law in Montgomery Ala.
A graveside service will be held later this spring.
