LEWISTON — The city will hold a public forum titled “Building the case for investment in Lewiston” on Wednesday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.

The forum is targeted at existing and potential commercial property owners and developers and will feature five panelists who will discuss creating opportunities and solving challenges for local business investment.

The panelists include Matt Assia, director of asset management at Chinburg Properties; Jim Brady, president of Fathom Companies; Thomas Platz, developer and architect at Platz Associates; Paul Ureneck, director of commercial real estate at Colby College; and Misty Parker, assistant director of Economic and Community Development for the city of Lewiston. The panel will be moderated by architect Mark Lee.

“When you take a closer look at Lewiston, it’s easy to see the city is full of abundant opportunity. This is a chance to dive into Lewiston’s commercial development market and talk with talented developers on how best to realize our fullest potential,” Parker said.
