LEWISTON – April Dawn Boothby, 30, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday April 5, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Lewiston on April 8, 1991, a daughter of Michael and Tammy (Benson) Boothby.
April was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from the Franklin Alternative School, proud of her accomplishment. Following high school, April worked for several years in retail.
Most importantly, April loved her two daughters, Echo and Locklyn, with all her heart, as they were her whole world. April was an artsy person and she particularly liked creating art with oil pastels. When she was younger, she was very expressive with her makeup and went for dramatic, theatrical looks. She also enjoyed music, especially the sounds of her favorite band, “My Chemical Romance.” Among her other favorite enjoyments were visiting cemeteries and swimming in the warmer months, baking and wrestling with her girls, and changing the color of her beautiful, unruly hair. She worked hard to provide her girls with a good home and was a loving mother, daughter and sister who will be dearly missed.
April leaves behind her two daughters Echo and Locklyn Boothby of Livermore and Auburn; her mother and stepfather Tammy Boothby and Eric Turbide of Livermore, her father Michael Boothby of Bath; five brothers and sisters Athena Houston of Portland, Shane Boothby of Farmington, Joseph Boothby of Wilton, Autumn Boothby of Lewiston and Jeran Turbide of Livermore; and several uncles, nieces and nephews.
April was predeceased by a brother, with whom she shared a birthday, Taidyn Turbide.
A gathering to celebrate April and share memories will take place at The Fortin Group / AUBURN on Sunday April 24 from 12-4 p.m.
