LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen voted Monday night to accept the 44-article warrant on a proposed $2.9 million budget that will go to voters June 14 at the fire station.
Eight residents, including the town manager, four selectmen and public works foreman, attended the public hearing held prior to the board accepting the warrant.
No questions were asked on the spending plan for 2022-23.
The proposal is $189,010.45 more than the current budget. The figure does not include Regional School Unit 73 or Androscoggin County assessments.
The package includes partial payments of $55,000 for an F-600 truck for the Public Works Department and $28,000 for a cruiser for the Police Department.
It also sets aside $15,000 for a reserve account for the Fire Rescue Department, and $12,000 for a capital improvement reserve account. The reserves can be found in the Capital Improvements budget.
The plan includes $15,000 to start a reserve account for a revaluation, which is included in the Professional Services budget.
