AUBURN — Kaydence Morse hammered out five hits, scored four runs and had six RBIs to lead undefeated Oxford Hills to a lopsided 24-1 softball victory over Edward Little (1-3) on Thursday.

Miah Gallan added five hits, scored four runs and drove in another four for the hard-hitting Vikings (3-0), who belted 25 hits. Pitcher Maddy Miller (3-0) held Edward Little to five hits and struck out five batters.

For the Red Eddies (1-1), Izzy Jalbert had to hits and Leah Thibodeau had a solo home run.

POLAND 7, LAKE REGION 4: Emma Gagne drove in three runs to lead the Knights (4-0) over the Lakers (2-2) in Poland.

Emma Bunyea, Maggie McGlauflin, Khloe O’Leary, Olivia Rioux and winning pitcher Atlantis Martin each had two singles for Poland.

Sadie Tirrell led Lake Region with three hits. Melissa Mayo recorded two RBIs.

MORSE 4, LEAVITT 2: Camdyn Johnson tossed a complete game for the Shipbuilders (2-3) in their win over the Hornets (1-2) in Bath.

Johnson held Leavitt to two runs on six hits over seven innings. Nola Boutaugh had two of the Hornets’ hits, and Abby Albert and Logan Arsenault each hit a double.

BASEBALL
POLAND 4, LAKE REGION 3: Grady Hart had a walk-off single for Knights in the bottom of the seventh inning, allowing the Knights (2-2) to shake off the Lakers (1-2) in Poland.

Poland’s Mitchell Bean and Drew Sayler each had two hits.

Sam Paladino was the winning pitcher for Poland, while Brooke Gibbons took the loss for Lake Region.

EDWARD LITTLE 9, OXFORD HILLS 8: TJ Kramarz scored on an infield error in the seventh inning to help the Red Eddies (2-2) slip away from Oxford Hills (1-2) in Auburn.

Kramarz also pitched five shutout innings of shutout ball after relieving Drew Smith in the third inning.

The Red Eddies’ Gavin Levesque had three hits and Brady Vincent had two hits. Aiden Gonzalez, Kim Masselli and Levesque all doubled.

For the Vikings, Eli Soehren doubled and Andrew Merrill and Hunter Tardiff each had two hits.

GIRLS LACROSSE
ERSKINE 10, ST. DOMINIC 9: Reese Sullivan scored the game-winning goal with 46.1 seconds left in the game to give the Eagles a victory over the Saints in Auburn.

Sarah Praul added four goals and an assist for Erskine (2-2), while Madison McNeff and Shannon McDonough had two apiece. Abbie McDonough also had a goal. Goalie Emma Henderson made nine saves.

Emma Roy scored four goals for the Saints (0-2). Natalie Brooks added three goals and Jessie Zimmerman two. Natalie Russell stopped 12 shots.

MESSALONSKEE 13, LEWISTON 2: The Eagles (2-1) took control early with a four-goal first half and then pulled away with nine in the second to beat the Blue Devils (1-1) in Oakland.

Mya Grant scored both of Lewiston’s goals, one in each half, and Lilly Gish had an assist.

BOYS LACROSSE
CAMDEN HILLS 9, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP/SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4: Willy Doehla scored four goals and collected an assist along the way in the Windjammers’ (2-1) victory over the Hawks (2-1) in Kents Hill.

The score was tied at 3-3 at halftime before the Windjammers erupted with four goals in the fourth quarter. Camden Hills/ Emmitt Marshall and Jackson Fitch each scored two goals and Jakob Johnson added one.

The Hawks’ Eric Vining scored two goals and Wyatt Lyons and Chase Knight each added one.
