LEWISTON — New Ventures Maine will hold a virtual class entitled “Connecting Women to Construction Jobs” on Wednesday, May 4, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. online.
This spring Maine employers will need construction workers. Take advantage of this 90-minute virtual session designed for women and underrepresented workers who are interested in exploring careers within the construction trades. Learn about low-cost or no-cost training programs and job opportunities in Maine. There are a variety of high-wage and high-demand careers you may have not previously considered. In just over one hour, you’ll learn about opportunities to earn good wages and benefits in the construction trades!
