When writing this letter in support of Kristen Cloutier, I thought back to my time serving with her. As council president and mayor of Lewiston, I worked closely with her on many issues.

Kristen has served Lewiston in Augusta since 2018. Her most recent term in office exemplified the need for both parties to work together in service to our community, especially when it comes to balancing a budget, reducing local property taxes, increasing the “rainy day” fund, supporting local economic development and supporting our schools.

Kristen delivered on all of these things through her leadership on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. Her service record is one we can all be proud of.

I do not take public endorsements lightly. I support her because of her desire and ability to find solutions that benefit everyone. I encourage our community to vote for Kristen Cloutier for House District 94 in November.
