I was and am disappointed at Bates College’s opposition and expenditure of money to fight its employees’ legal right to organize and unionize.
Recent union successes at several Starbucks locations, amid reports of unprecedented amounts of corporate profits in these pandemic years, have motivated workers all over the country to ask for their fair share.
