OXFORD – Luther L. Grover, 84, passed away on Saturday May 7, 2022, at the Hospice House of Auburn.

He was born Feb. 21, 1938, in Dixfield, the son of Rodney P. Grover and Editha Aldrich. He attended schools in Dixfield and then in Norway. He worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years. Luther held a private pilots license for many years. Luther was a man of many talents and was known as mechanic of all trades. He will be missed by many.

He was predeceased by his loving parents; two sisters, Myra Grover, Winnifred Plourd and a brother, Richard.

He is survived by two daughters, Rosanne Driscoll, of Wrentham, Mass., and Veronica Welch of Randolph, Mass.; and a sister, Priscilla Gammon of Norway; as well as his longtime companion, Helen Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

While keeping with Luther’s wishes there will be a graveside service on May 28, at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery on Paris Street. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremations Services, 45 Main St., South Paris.
