Arthur C. Turbide
DIXFIELD – Arthur C. Turbide, 86, died Sunday, May 15, 2022, at his residence on Beedy Brook Lane in Dixfield.Born in Rumford, on Oct. 28, 1935 he was a son of Joseph and Louise (Glover) Turbide. Arthur was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford and worked for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford as a Lime Kiln Operator. He was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church where he sang in the choir. He was a 60-year member of Oakdale Country Club in Mexico and the Eagles Club.Arthur was married in Mexico, on February 20, 1960 to Deborah Newman who died in Dixfield on Oct. 7, 2019.Survivors include his sons, Mark and wife Lori of Goose Creek, S.C., Steven and wife Brenda of Dixfield, Glenn of Dixfield, and Eric and wife Tammy of Livermore, grandchildren Amanda, Chad, Nicole, Josh and Jeran, great-grandchildren, Mark, Cooper, Avery, Echo and Charlie He was predeceased by his wife Debbie, a grandson Taydin, brothers, Paul, Lawrence and Alfred.Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book and share memories with the family at http://www.meaderandson.com.Graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, at St. John Cemetery in Rumford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford.Those who desire may contribute to Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church 7 Brown St, Mexico, ME.
