BERLIN, NH — The Berlin & Coos County Historical Society will again host barn sales this year. The first one will be held on Saturday, May 28, at the historic Brown Company barns on the East Milan Road in Berlin, NH.
This our 20th season of barn sales! A barn sale will be held every Saturday from May 28, to October 1. Please be aware that there are new hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. No Early Birds, please.
The smaller barn has been totally re-arranged with wider aisles, but the same departments are still available. The barns are located about one mile north of the hospital and across from the state prison entrance.
The public is asked to please not bring items for donation to be sold at the barn sales on this day. The volunteers are too busy on the day of the sales to accommodate you properly.
Proceeds from these barn sales go towards expenses to keep open the Moffett House Museum & Genealogy Center, the brand new Berlin Falls House, and to help preserve the barns.
The Moffett House Museum, located at 119 High Street in Berlin, NH is open year-round, Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. Call 603-752-4590 for an appointment or to arrange for a group to tour the museum. Admission is free. Donations are graciously accepted.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
