A tea honoring Auburn’s retiring teachers was held at Fairview School Wednesday afternoon, sponsored by the Auburn Teachers Association. Those honored and the school they are retiring from: Elizabeth Duplisea, Fairview; Lillian Kelley, Edward Little High School; Russell Carroll, ELHS; Winifred Anderson, Walton; and Florence Duty, Central School, Raymond Story, who retired last year, from Walton; Ellery Huff, ELHS; Bertha Chariton, Lake Street; Reginald Edwards, Walton; Anita Bingham, ELHS; and Paul Boothby, ELHS, Also retiring are Frank Wimmer, ELHS; Charlotte Martin, Washburn; and Mildred Blanchard, Washburn.

Advocates For Children is offering a workshop for parents, entitled “Helping Children Deal with Conflict,” Tuesday from 6:30 to 8pm at the Parents Resource Center, 27 Lisbon St. Parents must register. Childcare is offered on a limited basis.
