NORWAY — The Town of Norway will host two community meetings on June 1st for all ages to gather input for the vision of the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a 10-year plan for our community that lays out the direction for how the Town of Norway should meet its goals and is the basis for the Town’s land use ordinances. Town ordinances can be found on our web site, www.norwaymaine.com.
The morning meeting is via ZOOM from 10:30am-12. The link is https://us06web.zoom.us/j/5105256944, Meeting ID: 510 5256944, Call in # 1-929-205-6099. This information can also be found on our web site.
The night meeting will be held in-person in the forum of the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School from 6-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served buffet style so we can munch and discuss the various topics.
Come give your input and ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. What do we want out town to look like in the future?
Results of the surveys and these meetings will be shared at a public meeting to be held in the forum on July 13 from 6-7:30 p.m.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
