When was the last time people felt they matter and have worth in America? Who actually cares what their problems may be? Does anyone with any authority to enact changes in what was once the “land of the free” care what they think about the direction America is going?

Violence is the breeding ground of fear, ignorance, greed and cruelty. It thrives in societies marked by absence of hope, ignorance, lies, hate and self-interest. It blooms when a party continually pushes anger and hate.

For too long, Republicans have decided what this land accomplishes, and they continue even when they are the minority by blocking everything that Democrats have tried to pass.

Joe Scarborough, the co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC, recently went on a rant about the state of Republicans, calling them liars and saying they are “going straight to hell politically” over their embrace of Donald Trump.

The former congressman then shouted that Republicans should not “… lie through their teeth every day. … They have embraced the coarsening of culture where the truth means absolutely nothing, conservative values mean absolutely nothing.”

Republicans feel they could get away with deceit if Trump did. He did, and continues in his attempts to do so.

Conservatives need to learn that to the old-fashioned, dyed-in-the-wool Americans, hate never made any country great. When we move to always defeat Republicans at every level, we stand a chance of saving our country in this war for our survival.

I ask people to help me do this.
