DEAR SUN SPOTS: I found a bicycle that looks new in Auburn. It had been there for a week and perhaps fell out of a truck so I brought it home and repaired it. Please contact me if you have lost your bike. My email is  gerrytheclockman@gmail.com. —Gerry, Auburn

ANSWER: What a kind person you are. There has been a rash of bicycles being stolen, taken for a joy ride, then left at the side of the road or in the bushes. I hope this bike finds its way home. Let us know the outcome, Gerry.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have yet another success story to tell you because of our Sun Spots World. I wrote to Sun Spots saying I had lost a Toyota Corolla car key (June 2). The very morning my letter was in the column, I received a call that my key was found. You have saved me quite an expense to replace this key. Voila! Sun Spots, you have done it again. Thank you. —Pat, no town

ANSWER: I am pleased for you. I cannot take the credit, though. It is our wonderful readers in Sun Spots Land who are on the ball and have that shiny, “let’s help others” spirit. You are all fabulous.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am a senior citizen who is looking for a nice person to mow my lawn — not a big company. —No name, Lewiston

ANSWER: Here is someone who recently asked to be added to the Rolodex. He could be a good match for you: “I am a small business that performs lawn care for local residents. Smaller lawns and landscaping is my niche. References are available upon request. My contact information is Todd Duval, t.d.duval@gmail.com, 207-440-4833.”

I am sure there are others out there and invite readers to share lawn care information in Sun Spots. There is always a need and Sun Spotters feel good about using those tradespeople who are recommended here. Always follow through with checking references.
