Flora Abbie Reynolds Major

LEWISTON – Flora Abbie Reynolds Major (known of as Flo), 75, passed on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Marshwood Center. She was born Jan. 28, 1947, in Lewiston. She was the daughter of Ivan A. Reynolds and Methyl P. Ridley Reynolds. She grew up and attended schools in Mechanic Falls, graduating in the Class of 1964. She retired from Verizon Wireless.Flo loved cooking large meals for her family, long motorcycle rides with Nelson, time at camp with dear friends, and celebrating Christmas with many gifts for her family.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Nelson A. Major of Mechanic Falls; children, Ed I. Major of Lewiston, Pam J. Major of Mechanic Falls, Ron A. Major of Lewiston, and Patti E. Lynch and her husband Kevin Lynch of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several niece and nephews.The family would like to send our heartfelt thank you to the staff at Marshwood Center and Androscoggin Hospice Care. Flo requested no funeral services.The family is hosting a Celebration of Life on June 12, 2002 from 2-5 pm, at the American Legion, Post #150, 41 Elm Street, Mechanic Falls, Maine.In lieu of flowers, cards are welcomed and appreciatedat the celebration
