I am happy to support candidate Bettyann Sheats for Maine Senate.

Bettyann has been an active member of our community for 30 years, including serving four years in the State House. She has a history of involvement in many programs that have benefited Maine residents, such as the Public Transit Advisory Council, St. Mary’s Food Pantry, Adaptive Sports, and National Ski Patrol.

Bettyann is an advocate for affordable health care and veteran affairs, and wants to hear about any concerns or ideas.

She regularly attends meetings of the board of FAME, an agency supporting businesses and higher education. She was a chairperson of the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport, and recently assumed director responsibilities when a need arose unexpectedly.

Bettyann’s history of education at West Point and service for eight years as a helicopter pilot allows her to confidently accept new challenges.

It’s time for us to step up and elect Bettyann Sheats.
