ATHENS, N.Y. – Norman Fuller was born on April 17, 1933, in Livermore Falls, Maine to Raymond and Hilda Fuller. He graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in agriculture. Norman worked as a teacher, Cooperative Extension Agent and laborer.

Norman married Charlotte on April 19, 1958, and eventually relocated to Athens, New York. Norman was well known for his flowers and large vegetable garden, he was a volunteer fireman, fire commissioner, and active church member, Norman passed away at home on Jan. 17, 2018.

Charlotte was born on Sept. 18, 1933, in Greensboro, Alabama to Donald and Louise Berry. She graduated from Huntingdon College and worked as a teacher after graduation. After her marriage, she was a homemaker and was an avid reader, active church member and Fire Auxiliary member. In later years, she and Norman enjoyed traveling, including trips to Alaska, Canada, and the Netherlands. Charlotte passed away on Sept.1, 2019.

They are survived by daughters Nancy (Michael) Hopper and Carol (Jeff) Crosier; sons Mark (Marion), Phillip and Kenny Fuller, and seven grandchildren (Meghan, Sean, Kate, Sara, Jenna, Jeffery, and Milo). Norman is also survived by his brothers Melvin and Francis, sister Joyce Richard, and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte and Norman were predeceased by their parents, their daughters, Cathy and Laurie, son Donald and Norman’s brother Alfred.
