PERU – A special angel Lorna Hamanne, 67, went to heaven on Saturday July 30, 2022, at her residence in Peru.

Born in Rumford, on June 11, 1955, she was a daughter of Leo and Jill (Bouffard) Hamann. Lorna was a graduate of Rumford High School class of 1973 and Thomas College with a degree in accounting. She worked as a CPA and also as a Real Estate Broker with her father Leo. Lorna loved working at Top Hat Antiques with her mother Jill and also loved Worthley Pond.

She is survived by her sisters, Cindy Hamanne of Peru, Michelle Stolzenberg and husband Howard of Stratford, Conn., her brother Don Hamann and his wife Debbie of Mexico, nieces and nephews, Ryan Hamann and wife Jess and their children, Bentley and Hendrix, Tanya McPherson and husband Jason and their children Sawyer and Forrest, Karen Geriak and husband Adam and their children Bella and Hannah, Mark Stolzenberg and his daughters, Hallee and Chloe, Nicole Stolzenberg and her companion Bryan Chase, and her God Mother Beatrice Vlodek.

The family would like to send a special thanks to her caregivers, Charlotte and Sarah and Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice for their care and kindness.

At Lorna’s request there are no funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
