Roland Edmond Belanger

AUBURN – Roland Edmond Belanger, 89, our beloved Father passed away peacefully on the Lord’s Day, July 31, 2022

Born Jan. 15, 1933, he is one of the 13 children of Amos and Emilia Cyr Belanger. He married Rose Perkins in the year 1956 and divorced in the year 1978. He began his working career at Camden Yards staying there for 27 years working as maintenance, after his time there he started working for Sam’s Bakery, working as both a food packer as well as a delivery man before his full retirement in 1995.

Roland was an amazing father, he loved spending time with his children, bringing them to the beach, as well as state parks was his favorite way to connect with them. When he had free time he also instilled his love of, specifically, black and white westerns, sci-fi movies, and of course the Looney Tunes.

Roland is survived by his five children- Daughter Della Beaulieu and husband Don, Daughter Tina Belanger, Son Paul Belanger, Son Jean Belanger, Son Steven Belanger and wife Pam. Along with seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Roland was predeceased by his parents.

A visitation will be held at The Fortin Group Funeral Home from 9-11 a.m., Thursday August 11, with a committal service at St. Peters Cemetery at 11:30 a.m., following.
