Theresa B. Thomas

MEXICO – Theresa B. Thomas , 94, of Mexico, died at home on Aug. 3, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Mexico, on Jan. 17, 1928, the daughter of Bliss and Amanda (Cormier) Richard. She attended Rumford schools until she started working to help her family.

Theresa was lifetime member of LeParesseux Snowshoe Club, member of the American Legion and the Eagles. She loved attending Bluegrass Festivals with Davey T, camping at the Fryeburg Fair, going to Bingo and bowling with family and friends, playing the lottery and pull tabs, gatherings with family for holidays and cookouts. Theresa never met a person or dessert she didn’t love.

Family was the most important thing to Theresa. She was married to Adelard Boudreau on Oct. 31, 1946, and together they had four daughters. Adelard passed on July 13, 1961. Theresa met Davey T and they were married on July 9, 1962 and they had 2 daughters. Theresa and Davey T were married for 52 years until Davey passed on June 14, 2015.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Boudreau of Roxbury, Annette Ross and husband Alex of Rumford, Marie Ann Towle and husband Jerry of Poland, Sandy Boudreau of Roxbury Pond, Pauline Goodell of Mexico, Stormy Cogley and husband Paul of Roxbury, grandchildren, Trudi, Alex, Chris, Jason, Brian, Kevin, Peter and Angela, great-grandchildren, Bryce, Casey, Ian, MacKenzie, Lyndsey, Kirsten, Everett and Khloe, a brother Gill, a sister Leah Dobi, special friend Clyde Wardwell and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3 p.m., Friday Aug. 12, 2022, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., in Rumford. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St Rumford.
