Oxford Hills-based Andy Valley won its fourth straight game at the Cal Ripken 12U World Series with a 6-1 win over Green County, Kentucky, on Wednesday in Oakland. Andy Valley finishes up pool play with a 4-1 record and now turns its focus to the tournament championship bracket.
Andy Valley finished second in the National Division and next plays Thursday at 5:30 p.m. against American Division third-place finisher Laguna, California. A win in that game would send Andy Valley to the tournament semifinals on Friday.
