MECHANIC FALLS – Robert C. Berry, 82, of Mechanic Falls, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born on Sept. 21, 1939, the son of Warren and Doris (Crooker) Berry.

Robert married the love of his life, Barbara Ray on September 3, 1960 and together they raised five children.

He attended local schools and began his career as a machinist with Pioneer Plastics in Auburn where he retired after 36 years. He then went on to work for Bryant Energy for 15 years, and haying fields with Dr. Murch in Oxford. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, woodworking, keeping his home maintained, scratch tickets, Camel Reds and vanilla milkshakes.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter Penny and husband Jay Bryant of Mechanic Falls, son Bruce Berry of Kansas City, Mo., son David and wife Lisa Berry of Oxford, daughter Jenny and husband Wayne Usher of Poland, son Scott and wife Angie Berry of Mechanic Falls, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Hospice for their outstanding care and services.

Keeping with Robert’s wishes, all services will be private.
