LIBERTY — A man wanted by police in three counties was arrested last Thursday along with two other convicted felons who were at his house at the time of his arrest, according to state police.

Cole Libby, 27, was arrested at his home on Aug. 4 on charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled W Drugs, receiving stolen property and violating conditions of release, according to a news release sent Friday by the Maine State Police.
Libby was wanted on warrants from Knox, Waldo and Franklin counties before being located by police at his home in Liberty.
While there, police found approximately 50 grams of fentanyl, several firearms, drug scales and $8,500 in suspected drug proceeds.
Also at Libby’s house during his arrest were Felichia Glidden, 28, and Randall Smith, 56, both of Liberty, and both of whom are convicted felons, according to the news release.
Glidden was in possession of methamphetamine and prescription drugs and Smith was found in possession of approximately six grams of methamphetamine, $1,700 in suspected drug proceeds and two pistols. The $1,700 Smith was in possession of is separate from Libby’s $8,500.
Glidden was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and aggravated trafficking of scheduled W drugs.
Smith was arrested on charges of trafficking in scheduled drugs and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

All three were taken to the Waldo County Jail, then released on bail. The amount of bail was not mentioned in the press release.
While searching his house, police also found “numerous high-value items stolen in recent commercial thefts including a Can-Am Side by Side and a cannon.”
Police do not know where the cannon came from.
