Laurier “Larry” Belanger Sr.

LEWISTON – Laurier “Larry” Belanger Sr., 67, of 10 Oak Park, Lewiston, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at Central Maine Medical Center. Born in Lewiston on May 16, 1955, he was the son of Jean Claude and Irene Miliard Belanger. Educated in local schools, served in the Air Force, and worked many different jobs, including in the area shoe industry. A man of great faith, Larry was an ordained minister. He was a talented musician, and loved the blues. He enjoyed the outdoors, travel, the beach, BBQ, fairs, music festivals, Cool Whip and Diet Pepsi. He loved his family very much, and was happiest when spending time with them.

Survivors include three sons, Brice Chretien, Kyle Crowley, and Sean Crowley, five daughters, Mandy Belanger, Kristina Thibodeau, Becky Stedman, Amber Bowler, and Shannon Ward, twenty one grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Donna Crowley, his partner of over 30 years.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Laurier Belanger Jr., and a brother, Richard Belanger.
