Annette A. Amnott

LEWISTON – Annette A. Amnott, of Auburn, died in Lewiston on Aug. 10, 2022, at the age of 99 years and five months, just seven months shy of reaching her goal of living to 100. Born in Lewiston, she was the daughter of Laureat and Emeline Soucy Dupont, of Auburn.

She lived a long and full life, retiring from the U.S. Government in Washington D.C. at the age of 65. She lived in Germany with her first husband, Thomas Plourde, a decorated career Army officer, and on the Ivory Coast in French West Africa with her second husband, Roland Amnott, who was with the State Department.

Annette had a quirky personality, loved jazz, reading and collecting postcards. Her family has many interesting memories which will be topics of conversation for years to come.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet P. Barrett of Auburn; a granddaughter, Della W. Snow of Auburn; and two great-grandsons, Jason Snow and Owen Keith.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a grandson, Jason W. Welch.
