The Lewiston Senior Citizens plans to start its cribbage league on Thursday mornings effective Sept. 1, according to a news release from Roger Labbe, cribbage coordinator.

Games start at 9 a.m., and doors open at 8 a.m. for those who want to practice. Players are asked to be there at least 15 minutes before the games actually begin, for attendance purposes.

Organizers ask that people who are ill not plan to attend, until symptoms are no longer present.

The league runs from September until April, with a banquet in May. Those with questions call contact Labbe at 207-212-9253.
