Marion E. Fringe

OTISFIELD – Marion E. Fringe, 96 passed away on Monday Aug. 29, 2022, at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Long Island, New York, a daughter of the late Fanny Fringe.

She worked as a house cleaner and doing laundry. A devoted Catholic who would always be seen sitting in the front pew at mass.

Marion loved attending parties and holiday gatherings and she especially loved the Progress Center dances. Marion was a big fan of the Boston Celtics during the Larry Bird era. She loved to sing especially at Wednesday night home church meeting where her favorite song she always started went as follows: The Lord is good, good, good, Bless his holy name there’s not one single thing that our God cannot do, I wake up every morning singing bless his holy name, the Lord is good, good, good the Lord is good!

She had many lifelong friends especially Kenny and Terry Hoyt and family, Dennis and Debbie Arsenault and family, Louise Gould, and Joyce Goss and family. She also had an array of friends at the Norway Progress Center where she attended for 30 years and at her Hidden Lake home where she resided the last several years. All of her friends would also like the thank the Androscoggin Hospice Home in Auburn Maine for their loving compassionate care.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday Sept. 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Webber Brook Cemetery on Webber Brook Road in Oxford.
