DIXFIELD — Kara Woods scored three goals and dished out two assists in the Cougars’ shutout win over the Raiders in Dixfield.

Woods first fed Jayce Brophy for the opening goal before scoring the first two of her own to give Dirigo a 3-0 lead after one quarter. Brophy scored again in the second quarter, and Woods and Lana Waite each scored in the third. Brophy, Grace Robbins, Grace Averill and Emily Woods each notched an assist in the win.

Sierra Lane stopped 16 shots for Oak Hill, while Alivia Ellis made two saves to secure the shutout for Dirigo.

WINTHROP 8, TELSTAR 1: Bella Littler and Madline Wagner each recorded hat tricks in the Ramblers’ home win over the Rebels in Winthrop.

Julia Letourneau and Lucy Vachon also scored for Winthrop. Wagner added an assist, as did Lauryn Wood, Brooke Belz and Izzy Folsom. Madison Weymouth made one save in goal for the Ramblers.

Evalyn Cummings scored the lone goal for Telstar in the second quarter and Lyndsy Stephenson stopped 18 shots.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2, HALL-DALE 0: Olivia Mastine punched in both goals to steer the Phoenix (3-1) past the Bulldogs in Jay.

Mastine scored her first with 49 seconds left in the first half thanks to a feed from Brooklyn Fournier. Mastine slapped in her second goal after connecting with Miley Fournier with 3:34 remaining in the game.

Mallory Clark and Hannah Jewett split the goal keeping for Spruce, but didn’t make a save, Jade Graham had 15 saves for Hall-Dale (1-1-1).

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, BOOTHBAY 1: The Falcons scored twice in the third to rally past the Seahawks in Rumford.

Ella Young scored from Abby Jones to tie the game, then Neveah D’Angello scored the game-winner later in the period. Brooke Brown made 15 saves in goal for Mountain Valley, and Chloe Godbois added a defensive save.

Boothbay opened the scoring in the first quarter.

GIRLS SOCCER
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4, ST. DOMINIC 3: Alaynah LeBlond scored twice, and the Seagulls (2-1) rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to beat the Saints (0-3) at Old Orchard Beach.

Elise MacNair and Camryn Blatchford each added a goal, and Tess Ferguson recorded three assists. OOB keeper Summer St. Louis made five saves.

Natalie Brock tallied two goals for St. Dom’s. Gabby Allen also scored, and Anna Theriault stopped nine shots.

MT. BLUE 7, LAWRENCE 0: KK Daggett scored two goals and assisted on two others, and Elisa Mezzoli also found the back of the net twice as the Cougars (3-0) ran past the Bulldogs (0-3) in Fairfield.

Emma Dunn, Callahan Towle and Taylor Gordon each notched a goal and an assist, and Quintessa Marcotte added an assist as well.

Zoe Hutchins made 18 saves for Lawrence, which didn’t register a shot on goal against Mt. Blue.

BOYS SOCCER
LISBON 3, BUCKFIELD 2: Bryce Poulin slipped in a pair of goals off free kicks and helped the undefeated Greyhounds (3-0) shake off the Bucks (1-1) in Buckfield.

Daniel Levesque added a goal for Lisbon, Aidan Parker assisted on one of Poulin’s goals, and goalie Levi Tibbetts made four saves. Buckfield goalie Gavin Charest made six saves.

Justin Lucas scored both unassisted goals for the Bucks.

MT. BLUE 1, LAWRENCE 0: Trent Beaudoin knocked in the game-winning goal on a Kaden Smith assist, providing the Cougars (1-2) with their first victory of the season against the winless Bulldogs (0-1) in Farmington.

Mt. Blue outshot Lawrence 31-1 and held the advantage in corners, 8-1. Chase Ranger, who made one save, got the win in net.

MT. ABRAM 9, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Bear Rollins punched in a pair of goals and Morgan Thibodeau chalked up four assists as the Roadrunners (2-1) rolled to an MVC win over the Falcons (0-2) in Salem.

Sam Cockerham, Kaden Pillsbury, Thibodeau, Charlie Pye, Bryce Wilcox, Payton Mitchell and Ash Rollins each contributed a goal to Mt. Abram’s cause. Pillsbury earned two assists while Mitchell and Pye each earned one apiece.

Mt. Abram goalies Logan Dube and Trey Reed each made one save apiece. Mountain Valley goalie Zac New made 12 saves.
