BETHEL — Will Doyle found the end zone several times through the air and Gavinn Martin had multiple touchdown runs in Telstar’s 76-0 win over Traip Academy in 8-man Small School South football action Saturday afternoon.

Doyle connected with Cameron Palmer multiple times for touchdowns and also found Wyatt Lilly and Anthony Conant for scoring passes. The Rebels (1-1) led 40-0 after one quarter in what head coach Tim O’Connor called a “bounce-back game” for Telstar after a lopsided season-opening loss to Mountain Valley.

O’Connor noted that the Rangers (0-2) were plagued by multiple turnovers and Telstar’s kicks were able to pin Traip back deep in its own territory.
