MINOT – John W. Nason, 96 of Minot, Maine, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022.

John was married to his loving wife Charlene for 67 years. They had four children, Neal, Janice, Connie and Mary, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

John served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a TV technician then at BIW as an electrician. Besides his family, his greatest love was his homestead. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and camping with his family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 17, at Fortin Funeral Home in Auburn, 217 Turner St. Visiting hours will be from 10-11 a.m., with a service beginning at 11 a.m.
