WEST PARIS — A Sumner man was injured Wednesday morning after he apparently fell asleep while driving and rolled his truck over on Route 219, Oxford County Sheriff’s Deputy Zane Loper said.
Matthew Demillo, 52, had his two dogs with him in his 2021 Ford F-150, Loper said.
Demillo was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to an undisclosed hospital with a severe head laceration, the deputy said.
The dogs were taken to the Norway Veterinary Hospital.
Traffic was rerouted from Route 219 via Morse Road and Tuelltown Road.
