LISBON — Madeline Wagner notched a hat trick and added an assist as Winthrop topped Lisbon 4-1 in an MVC field hockey clash Wednesday.

Izzy Folsom tallied a goal and an assist for the Ramblers (8-2), while Lauryn Wood added an assist. Avia Russo scored the lone goal for the Greyhounds (7-2).

Ramblers goalie Madeline Weymouth made 11 saves, while Lisbon’s Maria Levesque totaled 17.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2, OAK HILL 0: Leah Burgess scored one goal and assisted on the other as the Phoenix (8-2) broke a scoreless halftime tie against the Raiders (3-6) in Wales.

Olivia Mastine assisted on Burgess’ third-quarter goal, and Burgess delivered the helper on Avery Bessey’s goal in the fourth quarter.

Sierra Lane stopped 16 of 18 shots in goal for Oak Hill, while Spruce Mountain goalie Mallory Clark helped keep her net clean without facing a shot on goal.

POLAND 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/NYA 0: Sydney Lacombe used an assist by Kaitlyn Morris and scored the winning goal in overtime to lift the Knights (2-6) over the Patriots (3-6-1) in Poland.

Poland goalie Addison Michaud made three saves while Gray-NG/NYA’s Lorenza Poulin made five.

ST. DOMINIC 7, TRAIP 1: Ava Martin scored six goals as the Saints (7-0) rolled past the Rangers (0-5) in Kittery.

Martin scored all five of St. Dominic’s goals in the first half. Emily Andrews found the back of the cage for the Saints in the second half. Andrews also assisted on one of Martins’ first-half goals, as did Ava Apodaca and Abigail Mitchell.

Maia Cote made two saves in goal for the Saints.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, TELSTAR 0: Abby Jones scored an unassisted goal and Neveah D’Angelo used a Mallorie Bourret assist as the Falcons (3-6-1) beat the Rebels (0-6) in Bethel.

Winning goalie Brooke Brown made two saves, while Telstar’s Bella Bennett made 11.

GIRLS SOCCER
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 8, CARRABEC 0: Four different Falcons (3-4) scored in a resounding win over the Cobras (0-9) in Anson.

Ali Mazza, Jaden Boulanger and Tessah Leclerc each scored two goals in the first half, and Layce Boucher tacked on two goals in the second half.

Justice Gendron made three saves for Mountain Valley to secure the shutout.

HALL-DALE 6, MONMOUTH ACADEMY/WINTHROP 0: Marie Benoit scored a hat trick and Rita Benoit tallied a goal of her own to go along with four assists in the Bulldogs’ (10-0) road victory over the Mustangs (6-2) in Monmouth.

Hayden Madore added two goals and Bethany Ives notched two assists for Hall-Dale.

Bulldogs goalie Audrey Gilbert made three saves to secure the shutout and Monmouth/Winthrop goalie June Foyt turned away 21 shots.

BOYS SOCCER
EDWARD LITTLE 5, OXFORD HILLS 1: Campbell Cassidy scored two goals and teammates Liban Issack, Tudum Monday and Ben Cole each scored one in the Red Eddies’ victory over the Vikings (0-8) in Auburn.

Undefeated Edward Little (7-0-1) went into halftime with a 2-1 lead. Oxford Hills’ Hayden Ferrell scored on a Kolby Bryan assist in the first half. Emmet Hand made five saves for the Vikings.

The Red Eddies’ Abdihakim Daud earned two assists and teammates Mohamed Adow, Cassidy and Abdi Mohamoud each earned one.

COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY
BATES 6, THOMAS 0: Anna Lindeis and Kami Lambert scored two goals apiece as the Bobcats (6-3, 2-2 NESCAC) rolled past the Terriers (4-5, 2-2 NAC) at Waterville.

Anna Cote and Maria Femia also scored and Paige Cote notched one of Bates’ four assists. Brennan Pinto and Elise Syphers combined for 13 saves for Thomas.

BOWDOIN 7, UMAINE-FARMINGTON 0: Lily Clifford scored three goals for the Polar Bears (5-3) in their win over the Beavers (1-5) at Brunswick.

Olivia Cunningham and Ella Ferrucci had a goal and as assist apiece for Bowdoin; Sophia Rosati and Georgie Coetzer also scored.

Alicia Bridges stopped 19 shots for UMaine-Farmington.
