Availability of health care services is an ongoing challenge in Maine. Frankly, in this area only Democrats have delivered for my district and Maine.

I expect my representative in Augusta to look into real ideas for making improvements in Maine’s health, not just empty promises as our health care system continues in distress.

During her previous legislative experience, Bettyann Sheats helped with parental coverage for college students, resisted the cuts to the Maine Department of Health and Human Services planned in the past by others, and helped set the legislative path to health care coverage expansions implemented by this administration.

I will support my Democrat Senate candidate, Bettyann Sheats, expecting her party to actually look and try again to better the health care system for Mainers.
