LEWISTON – Mary Eveleth Turcotte, 86, of Lisbon Falls, passed away peacefully in Lewiston on Sept. 22, 2022, following a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Nov. 3, 1935 in Livermore Falls to Charles and Ellie Chappell.

She met and married the love of her life, Reginald Turcotte, whom she married in 1963. Mary enjoyed long walks with her husband, making puzzles, gardening, cooking and in her earlier years, loved a good time at their camp at Tacoma Lake.

She is survived by her husband; her daughters Mary Ann Gray, Jeannette Plourde, Nancy Turcotte, and Linda Schultz. She is also survived by her brother Robert Chappell and a sister, Nancy Chappell; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Madelyn and Anita, a brother, Charles; and her son, Tony.

Mary was dearly loved by her family and all who knew her. She is already dearly missed. Our Lord has welcomed a new Angel home.

Visitation with Mary will be held at Crossman Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Lisbon Falls, Maine on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. A Mass will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, at Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Ave., Lisbon Falls, Maine at 11 a.m.
