To the Editor:
Congressman Jared Golden accomplished so much for Maine in two terms – vote for him to keep working on valuable issues and common-sense solutions: clean up corruption, expand healthcare, support seniors, boost workers and create good jobs, serve veterans and defend our environment.
Jared fought corruption with the For the People Act. Introducing the FLAT Prices Act, Jared pushed back against Big Pharma. He worked for a mental health and substance abuse unit at Togus for veterans. With the Great American Outdoors Act, he earned Maine $16 million for working forests and public lands like those around Bethel.
What I mention above is only a fraction of the work Jared has done for us.
I want a person who is dedicated to service, passionate about Maine, with an excellent work ethic and a solid sense of what is valuable to represent me in Congress – I am voting for Jared Golden.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
