BOOTHBAY — Mountain Valley scored in the first and fourth quarters to earn a 2-1 field hockey win over Boothbay on Monday.

LoLa Bisson scored in the opening quarter for the Falcons (4-7-1). Her goal was set up by Kaylani Sinclair. Abby Jones scored in final quarter off an assist from Mallorie Bourret.

Boothbay scored in the fourth quarter.

Mountain Valley goalie Brooke Brown stopped three shots in the victory.

DIRIGO 2, OAK HILL 0: The Raiders (4-8) held back the Cougars (8-3) for two quarters and part of the third, but Dirigo broke through with a goal in each of the final two quarters to claim victory in Wales.

Jace Brophy scored in the third for the Cougars, and Emily Wood added a goal in the fourth.

Oak Hill goalie Sierra Lane stopped 20 of the 22 shots she faced. DIrigo’s defense held the Raiders to one shot, which was stopped by goalie Alivia Ellis.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4, HALL-DALE 1: Olivia Mastine scored a pair of goals in the Phoenix’s (10-2) win over the Bulldogs (4-5-1) in Farmingdale.

Aubrey Kachnovich added a goal and two assists and Brooklyn Fournier scored a goal for Spruce Mountain. Mariyah Fournier had a pair of assists.

Mallory Clark and Hannah Jewett combined to stop four shots in the victory. Jade Graham had nine saves for Hall-Dale.

WINTHROP 8, TELSTAR 0: Madeline Wagner and Bella Littler each scored twice and had an assist in the Ramblers (10-2) win over the Rebels (0-9) in Bethel.

Lauryn Wood contributed a goal and an assist for Winthrop. Izzy Folson, Brynn Stubbert and Lauren Miller each scored one goal.

Goalie Lindsy Stephenson stopped 20 shots for Telstar.

BRUNSWICK 3, LEWISTON 1: Ava Wolverton scored two goals, both set up by Leila Bannon, to lead the Dragons (8-3-1) over the Blue Devils (1-10) in Lewiston.

Kiki Dinsmore scored from Ellie Sullivan for Brunswick’s other goal. Ella Duchette made two saves in the first three quarters, and Skyler Augustine was untested in the fourth quarter for the Dragons.

Gabriella Thomas scored and Kimberley McLaughlin made 12 saves for Lewiston.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 7, TELSTAR 0: Nate Holland had a hat trick in the Phoenix’s (3-7) win over the Rebels (0-9) in Bethel.

Matthew St. Pierre scored two goals and had two assists for Spruce/Dirigo, while Lucas Towers contributed two goals and an assist. Jesse Lewis set up a team-high three goals, and Daniel Wilson assisted on one.

Logan Knight, Nate Holland, Trevor Hogan saw time in goal for the Phoenix. Hogan stopped Telstar’s only shot on goal.

Rebels goalie Adam Stephenson made 10 saves in the losing effort.

MT. ABRAM 7, BUCKFIELD 0: Killian Pillsbury netted two goals in the Roadrunners’ (8-1) win over the Bucks (2-7-1) in Salem.

Morgan Thibodeau and Jose Torres each had a goal and an assist for Mt. Abram, and Payton Mitchell, Charlie Pye and Bryce Wilcox added a goal apiece. Kaden Pillsbury had three assists.

Goalies Trey Reed and Logan Dube made a save each in the win. Gavin Charest made 21 saves for Buckfield.

WAYNFLETE 3, ST. DOMINIC 0: Lucy Hart scored twice and Lucy Sarno added a goal as the Flyers (7-2) topped the Saints (1-7-1) in Auburn.
