NORWAY — Students in grades 7-12 can drop into the Norway Memorial Library teen room on Wednesdays after school to make a monthly featured craft.
Crafternoons are for makers, crafters, and DIY-ers or teens wanting to try something new. The October craft is macramé key chains; in November, paper creations: boxes, greeting cards, and Thanksgiving napkin holders, and in December, book-themed tree ornaments. There is no charge to participate.
The teen room at Norway Memorial Library is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. For information, contact teen services coordinator Sarah Dailey at 743-5309 ext. 5, or email [email protected].

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
