Mark R. Grondin

GREENE – Mark R. Grondin, 55, of Greene, passed away at his home on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022 with his loving family by his side after his fierce battle with Myelofibrosis and Leukemia.

He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 25, 1967, the son of Paul and Venise Grondin. He was a 1985 graduate of Lewiston High School and married the love of his life in 1988.

He worked as a purchasing agent at CED Gilman Electric for many years. He was an extremely hard and meticulous worker both at work and at home. He thought highly of his coworkers.

His passions were music, his 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser, watching football especially the New England Patriots, target practicing, weight lifting and ensuring his home and yard were all maintained. His greatest joy was spending time with family especially his two sons, Josh and Matt who were the light of his life as well as his adored grandson Asher.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 34 years Tammy; his son Joshua and his wife Celina and their son Asher of Buckfield; his son Matthew and his companion Bri of Lewiston; his parents Paul and Venise Grondin of Greene; a sister Lisa Bussiere; a supportive and loving cousin Rick, who was more like a brother and his wife Susan Grondin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the nurses at Lunder 10 at Mass General Hospital for the care they had given to Mark.

A Memorial Mass honoring Mark’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
