Marie G. Evans

LEWISTON – Marie G. (Gagne) Evans, 96, of Lewiston, passed peacefully on Tuesday morning Sept. 27, 2022 at Bolster Heights. She was born Oct. 18, 1926. She was the daughter of Napoleon and Dorothy (Leclair) Gagne.

Marie is survived by her two daughters, Marie Sirois and Bonita Mae Morrill; and two wonderful grandchildren, Nathan Sirois and Kenneth Stewart; as well her sister, Muriel Belanger of Lewiston.

She was preceded in death by brothers Leopold Gagne, Lionel Gagne and Robert Gagne, sisters Simone Caron, Irene Fortin, Florence Gagne, Gloria Smith.

Marie’s joy in life was dancing and listening to music, telling jokes and making people laugh as well as watching New England Patriots and visits from her family and friends.

Marie was loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well and her many friends in the community. We all love you and you will be dearly missed.

Services will be held on Oct. 20, at 1:30 p.m. at High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St. in Auburn.
