MEN’S SOCCER
CMCC 5, SMCC 2: Former Lewiston High School standout Ivan Domingues scored twice to pace the Mustangs (7-0-2) past the Seawolves (3-8-2) in South Portland.
A pair of other former Lewiston players, Moses Lumu and Romano Bassa also scored for Central Maine Community College. Abdifatah Yussuf had CMCC’s other goal.
Goalies Arnaud Nyagasaza and Davin Cloutier, who played at Poland, each made a pair of saves for the Mustangs, while former Mt. Abram goalkeeper Ian Allen stopped seven shots.
COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY
USM 7, UMF 0: Sage Drinkwater raised her season goal total to 15 with her second hat trick, leading the Huskies (10-5) to a shutout win over UMaine-Farmington in Gorham.
Edward Little graduate Emma Samson added two goals, and Mt. Blue grad Samantha Ellis and Chloe Arsenault also scored.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
MAINE 1, UMASS-LOWELL 1: Abby Kraemer tied the game in the 64th minute as the Black Bears (7-3-3, 3-0-3 America East) secured a draw against the River Hawks (6-5-3, 3-1-1) at Orono.
Emily Nelson scored on a feed from Chaima Khammar for UMass-Lowell.
Kira Kutzinski had 10 saves for Maine, while Taylor Burgess had six for the River Hawks.
