Bettyann Sheats would make a wonderful senator to represent us in District 20.
I have known Bettyann for the past six years as a state representative and a valued neighbor. She is an intelligent, honorable woman who is a West Point graduate and an Army helicopter pilot veteran.
She fought to improve veterans’ access to health care and worked to obtain funding for homeless veteran shelters. She supported statewide broadband service, which is so important to our economy by allowing people to work from home.
Bettyann is a calm voice of reason in turbulent times. She works well with others who have different points of view, an asset so badly needed in today’s divided atmosphere.
As she did in the military, Bettyann would protect us and serve us.
I am pleased to support Bettyann for state Senate. I hope voters will join me.
