AUBURN — Auburn Savings Bank employees selected Make-A-Wish Maine to receive a $500 donation as part of the bank’s quarterly giving program.

The donation will help support Make-A-Wish Maine’s mission to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Make-A-Wish Maine Development Director Nichole Rutherford, left, accepts a donation from Auburn Savings bank representative Audrey Patterson.

On average, the Maine chapter grants one wish every five days to children with critical illnesses, giving strength, hope and transformation to them, their family and community.

The Auburn Savings team met with Nichole Rutherford, development director of Make-A-Wish Maine, to present the donation.

“Make-A-Wish Maine is grateful for the generous donation from Auburn Savings Bank. We rely heavily on community supporters like Auburn Savings to help grant life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses in Maine,” she said.

Each quarter, the Auburn Savings team collectively chooses a local charity to receive a financial contribution. As a community bank, Auburn Savings Bank is proud to support local organizations who contribute to the wellness and vitality of Maine communities.
