Bettyann Sheats is a dedicated wife, mother and small business owner, who has made Auburn her home for 27 years and has fiercely and consistently advocated for our community.

As our state representative, Bettyann sponsored legislation to help support hardworking Mainers. I have personally seen Bettyann help those in need, from raking a sick friend’s leaves to spending years helping address food insecurity.

She ran the successful “Pack the Bus” event at Shaw’s, collecting food for St. Mary’s Food Pantry. She’s coached adaptive sports, including handicapped skiing at Lost Valley and target shooting with disabled veterans in Augusta.

Bettyann sat on Maine’s Board of the Finance Authority and chaired the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport board.

In office or not, Bettyann has dedicated herself to our community. I believe she would represent all of us with the same integrity and fortitude in the Senate as she has shown throughout her life.
